The company is dedicated to the extraction and processing of fish for the production of flour and oil, catering to both human consumption and industrial purposes. Additionally, they manufacture frozen products and preserves.

In April 2009, the Romero Group entered the fishing industry by acquiring Pesquera Giuliana, subsequently incorporating Pesquera Lila (flour and preserves plant) and Pesquera Hamer, both located in Chimbote (Ancash). In the same year, they acquired a third fish flour plant in Chancay and a frozen products plant in Chimbote.
